‘MOTHERHOOD, A Guide to Pregnancy’ draws on the personal experiences of the author vis a vis the many challenges women have to endure to celebrate the birth of a child.

The author addresses some of the challenges and what she described as desperations faced by women in their quest to conceive and have children, while proffering some very practical and reasonable solutions to these challenges.
The book highlights issues such as the causes of infertility, the age factors in infertility, the role of the man and the woman in the process of achieving conception, and some of the myths and superstitions regarding pregnancy and child birth.
As a prominent Advocate of the ‘In Vitro fertilisation’ (IVF) method of achieving conception, Oyindayo Akeeb in her book debunks the myths surrounding IVF, while encouraging women struggling to conceive to embrace IVF as one of the methods to achieving conception.
The book is indeed an invaluable material and a very useful guide to achieving motherhood.

A graduate of Mass Communication (journalism Major), Oyindayo Akeeb is an author, Journalist, Presenter and an advocate of Women and Children’s Rights. She is also active in Several empowerment projects

Oyindayo Akeeb is the Founder and President of the ODIDIIFEOLA FERTILITYFOUNDATION, based in Lagos Nigeria which provides and supports women with information about IVF and other assisted reproductive technology available to women. The organisation partners with some of the best fertility centres in Nigeria and has a very high success rate.
In 2021 she graduated as a Spy Police Officer from the Police College, in Lagos Nigeria as an Assistant Superintendent of Police.
She lives in Lagos Nigeria with her family.
